Supercar Test With Erebus Academy and Norwell Motorplex

The combined efforts of Erebus Motorsport and Norwell Motorplex lead to a rookie supercar test at Queensland Raceway on October 4th-5th for 6 junior drivers including Ryan. Lead by drivers Brodie Kostecki, Will Brown and Norwells very own coach, Robbo "The Whisperer". It included a day of familiarisation and practice at Norwell Motorplex prior to the full test day on Tuesday.

Huge THANK YOU to everyone from the Erebus Motorsport crew and Norwell Motorplex guys for this unbelievable opportunity. Special mentions go to Nathan Cayzer for organising this event, Barry Ryan for believing in young drivers and allowing them these opportunities, and Paul Morris and Robbo for their continued support in myself and the other 5 boys.

Summary

Both days were an orientation into the characteristics  of a race team and professional race car driver. The large takeaway from this event was the drivers application, their efforts, their ability to listen and learn and to further grow as a driver. The extensive knowledge of Brodie, Will, Robbo, Paul Morris, and Erebus engineer George Commins was imperative to the boys over the 2 days. From data analysis with George to driving tips and help with adaptation from Paul. It was an incredible experience and will be used to further learn and develop Ryan as a driver.
